PRODUCTIVITY IMPROVEMENT TOOLBOX PROBLEM SOLVING TECHNIQUES - WORKGROUPS
The course was developed to accommodate delegates who cannot leave their workplace during normal business hours. The course essentially contains a condensed version of of the key learnings and modus operandi, as developed in our well-established Productivity Improvement Techniques course.

Introduction to productivity and the standard of living.

Just-in-time, Kanbans, world class manufacture.
Activity sampling - the production problem solver.
Work measurement - the controling factor.
Costing, planning, the basics of TQM presentation of proposals and report writing.

Duration of course:
The course consists of 10 successive Saturday's (8:00 - 12:00) of classroom lectures followed by a weeks workplace practical. (An allowance is made for a break mid-course. The specific date is to be agreed by the delegates)
